JUNE 6, 2013- New Session of Basic Obedience/Good Manners Classes Begins!
Our next session of Basic Obedience/Good Manners classes will begin JUNE 6, 2013- Start your Summer on the right "paw" with your canine companion! We would enjoy having you in class if you and your doggie need some training- Classes are at the Des Moines Fieldhouse, 1000 S. 220 St., Des Moines, WA 98198, right across from the police station. Classes are open to dogs of any age (yes,old dogs CAN learn new tricks!) We of course have puppies in class, but we also get a lot of recently adopted/rescued adult dogs, purebred and mixed-breed, all sizes, colors and shapes! Please call 206-870-6527 to register, or go to www.desmoineswa.gov , click on Parks and Recreation and then Enrichment Classes. You can also email or call me with any questions, LIKE us on Facebook, and we always welcome visitors so stop by anytime we have classes running and watch for a while, we would be happy to see you!

Willow attains her UKC Championship, a Gun Dog Group 1st and a BEST-IN-SHOW!!!
Feb. 16, 2013- My 13-month old Weimaraner puppy Willow had a fabulous day at the shows and attained her UKC Championship, then she took a Gun Dog Group 1st and a BEST-IN-SHOW!!! She is now UKC Best-In-Show Champion Sunstar Willow of OwyheeStar, CGC, I am so proud of her!

dog thanks to you! :) " What a nice email, Thank You Leah! And to give credit where it is due, I helped guide her and her doggie, but she gets most of the credit as she is the one who kept up on the training all these years! Plus her Beagle is a sweetie too.

Willow attains her Canine Good Citizen title!
Willow attained her CGC on 101512- this is her first title, she is only 9 months and is on her way to a big future, Good Girl!

Sunstar Willow of OwyheeStar
We went to UKC shows in October 2012- Willow is such a sweetie, she is only 9 months of age but has already taken lots of ribbons and is so charming that she is always endearing to the UKC judges! What a good girl Willow!

My lovely Weimaraner Puppy "Willow"
I have my new Weimaraner show puppy "Sunstar Willow of OwyheeStar" from my friends Shela and Cliff with OwyheeStar Weimaraners in Oregon- she was born Dec. 30, 2011 and I picked her up on Feb. 25, 2012. Please go to the Weimaraner Photo Gallery for lots of pictures of Willow, and Lacee her momma and Dusty her poppa; Lacee is a longhair silver and Dusty is a smooth blue, my puppy Willow is the classic smooth silver like my girl Aspen.
I am very excited to have this new little sweetie, she is the best puppy I could ask for! She already does lots of fun activities like puppy playdates, visiting citizens and businesses with me on duty, and going to the Des Moines Farmers Market on Saturdays. She had her first dog show on July 1st and was a good little girl and got a blue ribbon, and she even gave the judge kisses! We have more shows coming up, so stay tuned for updates!
