I have a girl Weimaraner puppy reserved from my friends Shela and Cliff with OwyheeStar Weimaraners in Oregon- the litter was born Dec. 30, 2011 so I will be getting her the end of Feb. 2012!  You can go to the Weimaraner Photo Gallery for pictures of Lacee the momma and Dusty the poppa; Lacee is a longhair silver and Dusty is a smooth blue, my puppy will be the classic smooth silver like my girl "Aspen". 
I am very excited for this new little sweetie- I plan to do all the fun activities with her that I do with all my dogs, in addition to her being a beloved member of my family!  Happy New Year! 

My friend Barb writes that her local rescue group has a year old female American Bulldog from a shelter in Oregon- she has had some basic training and is healthy and spayed, she was purchased originally from a breeder.  Barb says she is very wiggly!  If you are interested in rescuing this dog, please contact Barb at     www.olwestbullmastiffs.com
My friend Maria in Alabama has two young adult American Bulldogs to place in new homes, one male and one female.  They are show bred dogs that have been family dogs and are very social, but will need additional obedience training. They are both healthy, and the male has been neutered but the female is not yet spayed.  If you may be interested in either of these dogs, please contact Maria at   clay.maria@gmail.com

Jessica says "Lou is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone we pass on walks asks what kind of dog she is and makes a comment about how beautiful she is. And she LOVES people :). She has met a ton of people and reacts beautifully to them all. She's been great with other dogs as well.  She is a little character, FULL of energy and is such a good puppy... we are very proud parents!" 

Neal says "Augustus is doing well and progressing nicely. He's so precious and we love having him!"

Vernon writes "Miles is doing great at the dog park--by far, he's the best socialized dog on every visit.  I'm glad we spent a couple days each week socializing him as a puppy, because it really paid off. He plays so well with other dogs. I've had at least a dozen people ask me, "Where did you get him and when is the breeder going to have another littler?" Miles single-handedly converts people from fearful to advocates of the breed. Okay, I know that sounds a bit like bragging (and I am a proud papa), but it's the truth!"  

Kate writes: "Hi Jan!  Willow is so, so very wonderful. As you know we have a 9 month old, and we could not have asked for a better, well tempered, super star listener dog. She lets Colton crawl all over her, it is incredible to see her patience with him."

Ty writes: "Thank you!  You are great and I look forward to getting another puppy from you in the future.  I can't imagine another breeder as good as you!"

Dog Fancy magazine interviewed me for an article in the June issue on American Bulldogs and took some photos- there are several of my comments in there plus a photo of Winston, he is Chelsea and Carlo's dog and is my girl Devon's grand-puppy!  I am so excited!  Please see "Links" on the right side of this page and look under Dog Fancy Magazine...better yet, go buy the June issue so you can read the article in person!  :-)

Thanks Ann for your wonderful comments!  I really enjoy teaching class (been doing it for over 30 years now...Yikes it doesn't seem that long!) and am so pleased when the students and their dogs develop that wonderful bond!

Deb, who has "Asja" from the 2008 Devon X Jeep litter, just sent me an email: "I wanted to let you know how things are going. They are going terrific! I have to say how happy I am to have the privilege to own a Sunstar American Bulldog!  I am glad I got my baby girl from such a fantastic breeder!  She is such a sweet little girl...okay, she is not so little anymore. Thanks again for the opportunity to own one of these beautiful babies!"
